I ended up having an argument with my friend about this. As soon as i mentioned what happened in France, she started saying "but you shouldn't label them
islamic extremists!!! islam is about peace so they arent exactly following islam!!!" like hello why can't people just acknowledge that these terrorists are awful, instead of spending their time defending islam when no-one even insulted islam in the first place ffs.
