Even though he has been sacked, he has got away with it in a way. I bet the BBC are letting him go with some lump of money. If this happened to any old person they would be suspended, go through months of investigation, and before all that probably be arrested and have a criminal record stamped against their name, being left jobless, their future unknown and their job prospects very thin.
Despite this incident other channels and platforms aren't going to ignore the potential gain from taking Clarkson on (financially speaking), so I can easily see another channel or online platform taking the risk and perhaps ensuring Clarkson is controlled and not let loose for something like this to happen again.
I'm kinda neutral over the whole thing. I think he should have been sacked, but personally I liked him as a presenter of Top Gear, so I will miss that.

Bringing up the whole Jonathon Ross situation again, I loved his show on BBC and I really like the man himself and I genuinely believed that the BBC would suffer big time when Jonathon left them but it didn't affect them at all, Graham Norton slipped into his place quite easily and I doubt they lost any viewers at all since his departure. I did think that I would watch JR on ITV but tbh I find myself still watching BBC and Graham instead because the show itself is better. I'm hoping that the same will happen with Jeremy because if there's one thing I can't stand it's too big for their boots superior assholes like him
