People have argued that he was doing it in Jacks' best interests but at the end of the day if I told someone not to say anything, I wouldn't expect them to go against my wishes. I would never be able to trust them again, tbh.

You have to weigh it up though and If I was told that my "friend" was being played and humiliated I would put him before the person who told me and happily lose the trust of the person who told me. You say sneaky, I say loyal and looking out for my friend
