kids turning up with carrier bags full of conkers, and the real competitive kids who had soaked theirs in vinegar to make theirs extra tough, so they'd win, kids today haven't lived
And yes LT the joy of finding that tree with huge conkers, and to spend an afternoon chucking a stick at those conkers to knock them off
I remember taking my girls to the park a few years back and finding a stick to throw at conkers, they looked at me as if i'd lost the plot as i started throwing the stick up the tree
