^ Being labeled as the "gay guy" in the house makes you stand out in a way, and standing out for any reason is something to try to avoid on Big Brother.
It also may or may not effect how you are able to connect with certain people.
It's not that big of a deal so he kind of over-thought things but he was just being cautious in his strategy.
