The standard is a huge improvement on Freak Show. But they've not made improvements on the pacing and structure so any good from it (within the first 6 episodes) falls apart in the second half. Much like Coven did.

Also another thing I didn't like from Coven on was how they made it less sinister and more comedic, like with Madam LaLaurie, that could have been a real creepy aspect but then they made her a talking head
