I get most of my back story information from my 11 year old son, was never a superhero fan tbh until I got kind of roped into it by him, seriously every car journey I have Luke talking non stop about superheros so you have to make a choice either go with it and start enjoying them or be driven slowly crazy while trying to resist, the former was the less stressful option

But yeah generally speaking I would do my best to see the previous film before the sequel anyway
