Default Jobsworth!

Hi everyone

I've not posted in a while thought i'd get your views and stories on Jobsworths.

I ****ing hate them!

I'm at work and a boy who is none verbal always has a full cup of juice drink with his dinner, anyway, the catering assistant always gives half measures of drink. (But i always top his up because it makes him happy). I challenged her yesterday asking why the cups are only half full, she replies that the council have told her that juice must be watered down 50/50 and a drink measurement is measured in this tiny cup and then poured into a bigger cup making it half full. The cup holds 4 mouthfuls of drink (i've checked it!) Anyway, i ask her please may this boy have his cup filled as there's plenty in the jug at the back of her, she replies "no no no, that's his drink" then she proceeded to tell him to sit down, the boy is madly gesturing that he wants a full cup, i tell her again that he wants his cup filling, she then grabs the water jug and pours it into his cup thus watering his drink down even more, at this point i wanted to grab the jug off her and smash it across her bony little face! Well the boy isn't stupid he knows exactly what she's done and he looks very sad, he has no voice, i'm his voice but she's sticking to those rules like a limpet on a rock, and then she proceeds to shove/push/gesture him to his table.

My thoughts are what a rotten cow she is, would it have really killed her to have brought happiness to this child and fill up his cup, where's her common sense, her humanity, her heart.

What a ****ing jobsworth!
