I remember reading a story about a bus driver who wouldn't let a woman on the bus late at night because she was 20p short of her fare so she had to walk home and she ended up being attacked. And that isn't technically the bus drivers fault, he was just following the rules, but sometimes common sense/common decency and looking at the individual situation would tell you to make an exception for some people, some of the time. |
