If it's just a heated row then no I wouldn't arrest them as words are just words, otherwise we go down a slippery slope where people could be arrested for calling someone a fat bastard or something else that can be deemed prejudicial.
Verbal assault can be a crime.

I was verbally assaulted when I was 7 months pregnant. I wasn’t touched but I was threatened. I was so frightened and traumatized by that assault that I had my baby 8 weeks early.

Words can be very damaging.
