Me personally i dont think this is the right film.
They could have done it in a past film or made another one.
But they chose to do it in the most talked about Disney film in ages that is why i feel they have done it for some kind of stunt/publicity then put any actual thought process into it.
It would be nice to see it happen to a character we could see grow not one of the side characters
