So basically Mrs Mays idea is to cap variable rate tariffs which most people should'nt be on anyway, so basically you will get a cap on a horrendous deal, to pay for this the Big 6 will take away the fixed rate deals so everyone as well as the 17 million people who cant be arsed to switch will be worse off
