So basically Mrs Mays idea is to cap variable rate tariffs which most people should'nt be on anyway, so basically you will get a cap on a horrendous deal, to pay for this the Big 6 will take away the fixed rate deals so everyone as well as the 17 million people who cant be arsed to switch will be worse off I found her talk about helping hard working people with their energy bills a bit off as well, given the elderly need more heat than anyone

Well I don't know about gas but I do know my neighbour is a pensioner and gets around £150 in November/December to help with fuel,the lady I know uses a pre-payment key and she gets it on that for her electric,plus her £200 winter fuel allowance and she is quite happy with that .

she doesn't need to say it will help hardworking families a cap on heating should be aimed at helping anyone who likes a warm home, its like strong and stable leadership, she needs to shoe horn hard working families into everything, I find it a bit creepy and robotic how briefed she is and the way she sticks to the theme like her life depends on it.
