There was literally no logic, it was failed logic. His move wasn't to save Ika, it was a move to 'ensure Demetres would be evicted' - which failed.

No it was to get a big physical threat out (which obviously he much preferred Demetres to go). But I don't think it was too big of a deal really... it sucked that Demetres was still around as a comp threat BUT he would've stayed if he kept Ika on the block next to him anyway. Dillon was the next best move.
I do think he should have put Karen up instead of Dillon but I guess he just thought Karen would never make that move and it's hard to blame him for thinking that.
And in case things did go wrong, he obviously would want Dillon out over Karen if he's taking out comp threats - so again it's hard to blame him for this decision. You just can't predict Karen was going to do that lol.
