Pair reportedly had a blazing row at a hotel in Enfield, north London last night
Actress is said to have been taken away by police and is being questioned
Couple have had stormy on-off relationship since meeting on reality TV show
Davis gave birth to their son in January this year following rows over paternity
Stephanie Davis has reportedly been arrested for attacking on-off boyfriend Jeremy McConnell at a London hotel.
The reality TV couple are said to have had an explosive row at the hotel in Enfield, north London last night and police were called.
Davis, 24, was reportedly taken away by officers and remains at a police station where she is being questioned.
McConnell's injuries were not serious and he was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The former Hollyoaks actress was detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, according to the Daily Mirror.
A fan who apparently witnessed the fight later tweeted the couple, telling McConnell his behaviour was 'awful' and telling Steph: 'I hope your ok.'
A Scotland Yard spokesman told MailOnline: 'Police in Enfield were called to a hotel in The Ridgeway, EN2 at 11pm on Sunday, 2 July following reports of an assault.
'Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of GBH
'She has been taken to a north London police station for questioning. The victim was treated at the scene and did not attend hospital. Enquiries continue.'
The couple's rocky relationship began after they starred together on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2016.
But they then became embroiled in a toxic romance which first ended a month before she announced she was expecting.
McConnell initially denied paternity of the child, but was proved to be the father and moved to be with Davis in Liverpool.
The pair are understood to have been staying at the Royal Chace Hotel while Davis films Big Brother's Bit On The Side.
The pair became parents in January when Steph gave birth to son Caben-Albi. It is understood the youngster was not with them last night.
It comes less than a week after Davis' mother, Pauline, posted cryptic messages online after labeling McConnell a 'scumbag'.
She shared a quote reading: 'Who you spend time with will have a great impact on what kind of life you live'. Another said: 'You can either let your heart rule your mind or your mind rule your heart.'
MailOnline has contacted both Stephanie and Jeremy's representatives for comment.
