They definitely are "female" insults but when they're used towards men it's usually because they're accusing the man of displaying some sort of stereotypical negative female trait ie. Slag : Sleeping around in a negative view=woman (whereas if you're complimenting or admiring the man for getting all the ladies then he goes back to being male like a stud or whatever) Then Bitch - The guy is behaving like a woman because he's talking nastily behind a persons back etc because of course a man acting like a man could never do something as petty as that...................all very standard everyday sexism
