Derek, Kemal and Makosi were all really distrustful of Orlaith but besides that she was pretty much there for everyone else
Science was the one the house hated on much more, and I think it was just him being childish and it getting to her. I don't think there was any indication by him that he was intentionally trying to grate on her, it was just another one of his dozens of arguments.
