Derek, Kemal and Makosi were all really distrustful of Orlaith but besides that she was pretty much there for everyone else Science was the one the house hated on much more, and I think it was just him being childish and it getting to her. I don't think there was any indication by him that he was intentionally trying to grate on her, it was just another one of his dozens of arguments.

Agreed. Science was like an irritating child but had a good heart underneath all that bravado and shouting. Derek's treatment of him was awful.

I love Derek and the first time I watched BB6 I thought he was in the right but watching it back a second time he was pretty awful to Science, he once said he was the better 'representative' for black people than Science or the time he said Science is the first black person that makes him want to become a member of the BNP. It all sounds pretty hypocritical and hilarious for Derek to act so arrogantly about it, but wow

I just re watched BB6 for the 100th time and their relationship was probably my favourite. how they went from close friends to a father and son bond to sworn enemies.

They would bicker and bicker playfully at the beginning and middle and by the end they would both utterly detest each other. Their argument in the dog task is hilarious though.
