FB is very useful for what I do, but their site is set back in the stone age. I remember when it was for university/higher education users only and it hasn't changed all that much. I don't use the app since I don't use it daily, but I use the mobile website for what I need and then get off. It is very buggy, especially for text input. I can't deny all the groups and online networking stuff is on there... YT is the obvious GOAT and I consider it my primary "social media".
