Default Marcus v Siavash (current betting odds)

I know alot of people dont like the punters on here, but the odds are quite strange in relation to the opinion polls.
Siavash price has drifted from evens to almost 2/1, whilst Marcus has dropped from evens to 1/2 to be evicted. Despite the polls generally saying its 50/50 or just in favour of Siavash staying, the most popular housemate polls suggest Marcus is in front of them all. This I find quite significant as his personality will probably attract more die hard fans, wheras Siavash has been uneventful until this week at least.
How close do you think this is guys cuz the odds r suggesting the poll percentages are more 40/60 for siavash to stay, when this is really not the case.

I bet on siavash to go as soon as he exposed his game plan on nominations in the diary room, but by the end of the episode Marcus had said siavash knows hel lose on a 1v1 against me. personally, i dont hate Marcus for saying it cuz siavash did basically say that in the diary room, and Marcus has always read the game well. but now they are all desperate to win, except Sophie, so im for her, only by default. What a **** bunch without Freddie.

Lads, Get your money on Siavash to go @ 2-1, that's free money. Unfortunately Siavash will be gone but there's money to be made

BBmassive, this is my point.

If you looked for value as a punter, you would definately go for Siavash at that price. Why? cuz the polls are closer than that and Marcus is/was the favourite housemate in the polls this week.
The prices should be more like 8/11 marcus to go and siavash 11/10 to go IMO.

I'm definitely thinking of putting a few quid on Siavash to go. Good odds like you say.

A lot of people will see value in betting on siavash to go, you watch how close the odds get tommorrow.
When freddie was up against marcus the odds came in a terrific amount
This vote will be probably the closest ever

I got my money on Si at 2-1, just like i got Freddie for 4-1 when he was going. TBF the odds really should be about 5-6 each

I really want Marcus to go, but think the diehard Marcus fans will make more 'phone votes to evict Siavash. Unfortunately I am 100% sure that Marcus will stay - will be very sad to see Siavash evicted but looking forward to seeing him on BBBM and BBLB Sunday and next week

Yeah exactly, Siavash has definately had a better week than Marcus... But Marcus is like marmite and has die-hard fans.
Does Siavash really have more to offer the show? I thought he did, but not recently. I have a chance to back marcus to go but end up with an overall loss cutting my losses, but im gonna let my money ride now I think cuz the odds are so shocking considering its almost 50/50.

On another thread I am predicting 70:30 Marcus to go as he implodes into his own vacuous self-made myth. The Walter Mitty character is unsustainable! The tipping point has been passed and his support will collapse.

Marcus has more fans on forums but would you think Siavash has more fans outside of the forums?

The numbers were 50/50 on bigbrotheronline.

It will depend on Friday night show. If a lot vote then it could go either way.

Marcus is getting monotonous with his foul language and behaviour. He should have been removed long ago for his obscenities. Even the housemates are sick to death of his filth now.

No more please.
There will be enough interest watching the others nominating on Sunday.

Bookies get their prices from things like polls ,and actual bets handed over the counter /online etc .it is a close one ,but after tonights hls Mucus did drop again he is doing himself no favours ,and will pay the price, he has no chance whatsoever of winning bb

bookies get their prices from the exchanges ie (betfair) they have to compete with the higher odds and can back their prices for sure fire profit.
Ive just checked betfair and marcuz is 1/3 to go now, siavash is 3/1 to go WOW. Siavash is joint favourite with Sophie to win, how the hell has thi happened when vash gave his whole gameplan away this week? amazing.
Sophie is definately going to win this year.

The situation is actually very similar to the week of the Marcus v Freddie eviction: Marcus to stay according to most polls but the betting market indicating precisely the opposite. Maybe we will get a similar result tomorrow with Marcus defying the betting market or maybe not.
