That message above simply says..

Avatars are currently disabled. High demand.


Doesn't answer anything.

May I ask..


1. Why are they off exactly? The forum isn't really slow.

2. How long will they be off?

I don't mind but I went to the trouble of making an Allistar avatar, uploaded it then avatars were turned off a few seconds later.

I haven't turned avatars back on to see if they really need to be off yet. Might have just been a spike of visitors at 12:00. Might be okay now.

Switch gifs off if anything. People can post links. They suck the life out of boards

Yeah, I've been meaning to limit those. They are not hosted on this server though, so they don't really contribute to higher demand.
