Default Why do people say \'awwwk\'
I've seen it twice today and it confuses me - is it a regional thing?

Because to me it either sounds like you're going "awww" and then randomly add "kay", or you're squawking.

I say it a lot, just out of habit. The k just adds a -ck to the end not a kaaaaaaaay. lol.
I suppose it's Belfast slang. If you have a convo with any woman over 30 in Belfast, you will hear "Awwwwk" A LOT. Thing is..I'm a boy and I'm 15. :S
