Default Do we really need a filter on the word ****?

Do we? I mean, I can understand 'f' and 'c' words but why the 's' word? Is it really considered that offensive a word today? Does it cheapen up the forum is it just a word that doesn't need a censor? Personally, I'd class it on the same level as 'crap' or 'piss' and those words aren't filtered out.

Over to you guys...
