Metal doesn't get enough respect it is probably one of the hardest types of music to play and get right, unlike tweaking a few buttons then singing into an autotune machine

Yeah, the newer stuff does tend to lack any imagination and creativity (in my opinion). I'm in the phase of listening to it from when it started (1980s) to 2006/2007. It all went downhill after that, particularly after 2010.
