Because if someone annoys me I would have to confront them about it. I can't sulk for ages, instead I'd prefer a good row, clear the air and move on. This works fine in the outside world, but may not in there.
However as I like to cook and can be very inventive with chick peas, even if they didn't like me they would probably not nominate me for that reason!
Having said that, I could never be a housemate because I couldn't go 3 months without books.
