1st of Dec is a Friday this year I'd probably put mine up then too only we've loads on that weekend

Ours will go up the 3rd then, cos my hen night is the 2nd so wont be in all day/night

True but the plan then is to lay on the couch and give Stuart instructions

I've got mine up two weeks ago!

Ours always go up the last weekend before the 1st December (so that they're all finished by then), depending on how the dates fall that can either be a few days before or a whole week.

It's a Friday this year so the plan was to put them up this weekend but then I thought since we're going away a week before Christmas why don't we move it back a weekend so we don't miss out my brothers weren't keen so the compromise is now whatever day these new app-controlled tree lights that I've ordered arrive, it'll probably end up being this weekend after all

we Always decorate our house 1st december, or in this years case 2nd december on a Saturday
