I hate it when women/girls are classed as "birds". I know it's common talk with people these day but I find it's so cringeworthy, I'd hate to be a girl and have that said about me. "Oh, that bird is fit as."

Girls don't have wings. Feathers. They don't have a beak (okay some are ugly but...) and they clearly don't fly.
