Eastenders
In the wake of Archie's murder on Christmas Day, the Mitchells are under the impression that the only thing he'll have left behind is his will. What they don't know, though, is that Stacey's (apparently) pregnant with his child, his ex-wife Glenda's on her way - and so is his secret son, Danny.

As the family discuss the latest turn of events in the investigation into Archie's death, Ronnie and Roxy confront their Auntie Peg about the divorce papers they found in her handbag. Peggy reluctantly admits that she stopped by The Vic on Christmas Day, before revealing what was said.

Hugging Ronnie and Roxy, Peggy assures them that they're still her girls and at that moment, their mother Glenda - played by Glynis Barber - walks in...

Coronation Street
Meanwhile, over on Coronation Street, Becky McDonald makes a shock discovery that she's pregnant on New Year's Eve. However, Claire confides in Steve that Becky doesn't want children and when confronted with the truth, Becky's less than overwhelmed by his reaction.

How will she cope with her pregnancy? Will she tell Steve the truth and come to terms with the reality of her situation?


Emmerdale
And finally to Emmerdale, where Sally makes a pass at Ashley. Dolled up and clearly making an effort, Sally turns up at the house and hands Ashley a bottle of wine. Ashley, however, is distinctly uncomfortable by her forward attitude towards him and tries to ask her to leave. He makes the mistake, though, of complimenting her in the hope of softening the blow.

Misreading the signals, Sally leans in for a kiss and Ashley recoils in horror at what's just happened.

Will Ashley finally see Sally for the manipulative bitch she is? Or will he convert to her way of thinking?

EastEnders' Ian Beale is forced to take drastic action in a fortnight's time as he dumps Archie's laptop - evidence that proves he was in The Vic on Christmas Day, the evening Archie died...

When Peter Beale asks Tamwar to retrieve some deleted files from the laptop - which Peter presumes to be Ian's - Tamwar stumbles across Archie's audio recording of Ian's sexual encounter with Janine, which took place only weeks before.

After an argument with Jane over Syed and Christian's relationship, Zainab wander into the room and asks Tamwar what he's listening to, before demanding that he play the file. Stunned by what she's hearing, Zainab decides to take matter into her own hands and exact the perfect revenge on Jane.

With that, Zainab storms across to the Beales' and proceeds to play the sex audio to Jane, who's devastated by Ian's adultery. Ian tries to reason with Jane that his encounter with Janine was during a time when he didn't know if she'd be returning home. Jane, however, has heard enough and seeks solace in Christian, claiming that she should never have returned.

Christian manages to persuade Jane that she shouldn't throw away her marriage over something so stupid and on returning home, Jane asks Ian if he's told her everything. Realising what she means, Ian insists that he didn't kill Archie.

Later, Ian throws Archie's laptop into the canal in the hope of sinking the evidence before it sinks him.

Chances are that it'll resurface, though? No?







These scenes air on Thursday, January 14 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Meanwhile, over in Coronation Street, Patti Clare makes a welcome return to Weatherfield as Norris's old competition partner Mary Taylor.

Norris isn't best pleased to see Mary again, while Tina takes pleasure in ensuring he can't say no to her dinner invitaiton to the camper van of love...

Will Mary be stoking her muu-muu again?




These scenes air on Monday, January 11 at 7.30pm on ITV1.

And finally to Emmerdale, where Natasha walks in on Faye and Mark just as they're about to end their relationship.

However, it's too little too late for the loved-up pair, as Natasha's finally exposed Mark for the lying love rat he is.

From here, it's downhill all the way - how will his children react when they discover the truth? And more importantly, will Ryan and Maisie discover their true relationship before it's too late?
