How would they have made sure the evictee would be in that position, as the housemates would be rehearsing all day beforee the lines close.

Let Sisqo or whoever would be in his place in on it and tell him to "pick someone at random" when the time comes, but with BB telling him the result (secreted earpiece and all that)

They could easily have assigned the task to the person they knew was being evicted, could have closed phone lines earlier than usual.

That would have been epic!
