mines the first the story was brilliant and the characters were at there best in my opinion

It's between 4 and 5. Probably 5 because I liked how we saw The Dharma Initiative at its hey-day through the time-travelling without using flash-backs, and that meant it could involve the main characters.

4 was good for the freighter plot, the new characters and the flash-forwards.

1 had the biggest sense of mystery and unknown.

One thing I didn't like about 2 was how they introduced all the tailies as major characters only to kill them all off (apart from Bernard and the stewardess that joined the Others).

The best single episode is still 'Through the looking Glass', season 3 finale.

4. Just outstanding, there isn't one episode I didn't like.
5. I had a hard time getting the whole idea at the beginning but then it got better and better.
1. Where it all started, incredibly well made.
3. It was alright, loads of new questions.
2. It was lame.

I love them all!

Season 1 - The series that made us fall in love with Lost in the first place. Best end of season cliff hanger ever!!
Season 2 - I didn't think it was as bad as everyone is making out. I enjoyed the Hatch plot, but it did seem to lack direction at times.
Season 3 - Plot-wise, it was back on track. They actually knew where they were going and the next 3 seasons were set up with this one
Season 4 - The freighter plot was intense! And the flash fowards were a welcome break from the tiring flashbacks.
Season 5 - Started soooo well with the time travelling, slowed mid way through and didn't live up to expectation towards the end.
Season 6 - So far, it's been fairly average, but it'll pick up! I'm expecting a mind blowing ending.

Overall, I'd rate Season 3 the best, with Season 1 a close second.
