Default NORMAL housemates this year...

Can we please have normal people in the house this year BB? Housemates which can hold down a coversation, housemates which are actually interesting and not fame hungry *****s and most of all, no stupid stereotypes. Its what ruins BB.

Hardly. I don't think they were even people, were they?

More like androids. They were emotionless, humourless, and void of any personality.

They were quite odd.

No we need someone that is not a creep, just entertaining, funny, honest and willing to stay up all night.... eg. Someone i know, i have no idea if this person has recieved a phonecall if they are doing them rignt now.

So he's normal, but not in the boring sense.

I know, I watched BB10 lately and there wasnt a single 'normal' person there- everyone was a stereotype or freak or overhyped caricature. Everyone was either blond or gay or an ethnic minority or a foreigner or just plain weird. there wasnt a single 'average' person there! No one that's just 'regular'!

Then I watched BB7 and even with the few people who were strange or had psychological issues you still had so many relatively 'normal' people like Grace, Imogen, Sezer, Glyn, Jennie, Suzie, Jane etc.

By the way, I'm Jewish, married, and mom to 2 little boys.

Jennie was underated. I think she should have been there from the beginning.

BB10 has been the worst series to date. BB probably tried too hard getting different people in like the ethnic minorities such as Angel, Siavash and Sree and then they just chuck in dull as dishwasher wannabe models like Sophie, Karly and Noirin to the mix.

Actually yeah I think bb10 probs had the most freaks and it was the worst series. Umm.

We just need entertainment. lol

Just put in the most ignorant working class people you could possibly find to mix with the freaks. Racist builders, stuck up bankers, that sort of thing.

I did love the BB10 tasks!!! bringing in past housemates, the magazines, the daytrip to London, showing them Day 50 on the plasma, all those weird ideas were just fun.

We've had relatively normal housemates for the past 3 years. I think BB9 had the best launch night line up, they really got the balance of normal people with oddballs. But the more mentally unstable the overall line up, the better!

As I think Big Brother 5 was an absolute blast as a series, more of the same characters in this one. If we put in someone who hates/dislikes a certain type of person then put in someone who fits that description and repeat this with each housemate.

I loved the shock of BB5 when they put in Marco ... about as gay, camp and squealy as you can get, and then in goes Ahmed the homophobe right after him, and again in BB6 with toff Derek who hates everything that Lesleh was, who was hm #2.

I really miss the golden years of BB when they knew what the audience wanted.

Me too and that's exactly what you need. You don't need complete nutcases, you need people to co-exist with people they normally wouldn't. It's a test for the money, instead of an easy ride.

The thing is you don't need to put in full on freaks in the freak sense of the word. Look at Victor, the greatest housemate of all time. Loud, demented, braindead but he wasn't a freak per say.

More housemates like that.

What summed up Big Brother and where the show was going was Dale. How did this twat get into the Big Brother house? Not entertaining, could not string a sentence together and in general, dull.

And don't say that was a normal house mate. A normal person could finish a sentence without 'like'.
