Default Who still has a Sunday dinner?

I've had a Sunday dinner for as long as I can remember. Roast beef, potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire puddings, etc.

So I was shocked to discover a work pal eats pizzas on a Sunday lunchtime.

Maybe I am old fashioned then! How many people here still have a Sunday dinner?

Maybe - she is simply too busy! Quite a big job cooking a roast - and all the washing up! Can't imagine a lot of young men and women of today wanting to do it! There will probably be even less people doing it when they have their own families!

Yeah a joint in the oven has to be cooked for a few hours and some people nowadays don't have time. However fresh veg and that should be cooked on a regular basis. It is only throwing in some carrots, broccoli etc.. in a pan with water and takes like 20 minutes to cook? a tin of peas only takes like 2 minutes to cook! It is the meat really.. but a few good sausages takes about 7 minutes to cook under the grill or a steak frying in a pan takes about 7 minutes too!
