Default I need your suggestions!

Hey all :]
Right, as most of you know I'm studying Performing Arts & I've got my big final show coming up in about five weeks. For it, I'm doing two short 5-minute Musical Theatre scenes with my female best friend, 1 is self-devised, the second will be a scripted one.
I've devised the first one, that's sorted. We've got a Grease-style acting intro, and then we sing 'Don't Rain On My Parade' [but the Glee version].
However we're struggling to think of a second scene. We want this one to be an existing scene from a real musical. We don't want anything too famous, or anything cheesy [HSM/Camp Rock] or anything too well known [Grease/Dirty Dancing]. We're currently considering 'Light My Candle' (RENT), or 'Sue Me' (Guys & Dolls) but we're unsure. Here's where you guys come in.

Throw us some songs/scenes from Musicals that we could possibly use [try to avoid anything too love-based, as our first one is about love and we want a contrast]. Something Cabaret-Chicago-esque would be fantastic.
Thanks

Hmmm, Sweeney Todd springs to mind since it would be quite a contrast but then again costumes would be a problem I'm guessing. I don't really know that many musicals though.

Oh wait, How about something from Avenue Q? It's done with puppets but you could always just play the parts of the puppets yourselves I'm guessing?

Have you thought of updating and performing something from a famous opera etc?

Hairspray was my initial thought, it's my favourite musical. Unfortunately most of the songs require more than two people, or are too long.

Avenue Q, Sweeney Todd, Rocky Horror & The Producers are fantastic suggestions (completely forgot about the latter one). I also really like the idea of updating an older piece.. gonna start looking into these.

Keep 'em coming guys, it's a big help <3

Burlesque xo.

on a serious note, have you thought about Chicago or Moulin Rouge? both have a lot of male/female moments so could work.
