I was watching an older Louis Theroux interview a couple of days ago which featured Simon Cowell just as the first series of Pop Idol was getting underway, and it was so interesting to see the contrast in the man now to what he was on this show: Instead of the arrogant, pompous and articulate individual that we've come to expect on XFactor you had in his place a rather bashful and fawning man who was giggling more than talking really. It was verty interesting. Totally different person.
