Had an idea.

Alot of Channels usually have a little countdown on a day or the week of a premier of a special movie or show.

Im not sure if they did one for BB before though.

Well this year seeing as they aren't doing countdowns I thought it would be cool if they do a little BB11 mini countdown 24/7 at the Top Right hand of the screen on Channel 4 and E4.

Realisticly if this happens it would probably start on Wednesday marking a week until launch.

I made 2 pictures showing an example of what it would look like on a basic E4 show.

One with flower writing and the other with white:









Do you think this is a good idea and have they ever actually done it before?
I would love to watch E4 and C4 and see the countdown ticking away, it would be better than having the advert countdowns.

Would be ace for fans to see but could imagine it annoying some people and putting them off?

Maybe if they just did it on the launch day

I say tough to them though, I mean they did it a few weeks back with somthing else I think it was Glee and not everyone loves Glee.

BB is C4s biggest show so I think the majority of its viewers would be glad and even to the haters, as you said it would put them off so it would be a big slap in the face to BB haters LOL

Good idea but no. Would look tacky, there'd be complaints and people would be put off. If it was a bit smaller and revolved around the E4 logo then that would be cool if it twisted round to reveal the eye.

In 2008 Channel 4 had the BB9 Eye on-screen, in the top left corner of the screen on the day of the launch.

On E4 they do it every year on launch day, in the corner it says "Big Brother Tonight"

Maybe not the minutes but the hours and days i like.. I think the minutes is taking it a bit to far lol.

They update the E4 DOG every year and as has been said they did the C4 one for BB9, you not seen them? They don't countdown though.
