Default This was when Big Brother was good...

And by 'Big Brother' I mean Big Brother itself, not the show or the housemates.

Go to this: http://www.beatfiltering.com/index.p...d3ac1099218270

Click 'Begin Browsing' and then on the YT search bar type in 'Big Brother UK 2005 Highlights Show 59 Part 5' and watch the video.

Notice how BB says 'housemates are reminded to keep the noise down...' whereas nowadays it would be 'could Craig/Anthony come to the DR'.

Much better when they didn't intervene. And the argument was ****ing brilliant too.

Its destroying the objective of Big Brother, 'putting different people in a house and see how they interact with each other'. How is breaking up an argument after somebody raises their voice allowing them to do this? Sure if it continues after so long/gets physical split them up, but not over raised voices *facepalm*

Wont even mention contact with the outside world.

To think:

-Had CBB not been thought up.
-Had Jade Goody of died around Summer 2006.
-Had Shilpa of stayed away from CBB.
-Had Oxo Cubes not been invented.

We would all live in a world were Big Brother was still as good as this.. and a world without good gravey but anyway.

LOL, if only, if only.

On a serious note I think BB kinda died with Jade. Her diagnosis wasn't long before CBB6 and her death wasn't long before BB10 so I think that put a stamp of closure or poingnancy to the show. She was the most succesful HM after all

Also ever since BB1 there's been a power struggle between whether it was BB itself or the HMs who were in charge of the show. Since CBB5 BB itself has struggled. Sometimes it's too harsh (ejecting Emily at 3am in her pyjammas for her racial slur) and sometimes it's far too fickle (calling HMs to the diary room only because they've raised voices)

I just find it hilarious how Anthony is fuming [and more aggressive than John James was] and yet they just tell them to 'keep the noise down'

This is the bit that started it all off as well [one of the only available YouTube clips of it I can find]. They would've intervened here as well had this been BB11

Brilliant

Brilliant
I'd watched this alot of times and it never gets old lol
I still remember watching it on E4 while reading a magazine and I was like

I love how angry he is here 'DON'T EVA THROW YA BOTTLE OF BEER OVA ME RIGHT!'

If that was today they'd call him to the Diary Room before he could even say the word 'Eva'

Did you see Anthony on BBBM tonight? It was quite funny, there's been talk of him for about 2 days on here and then he appears on that randomly lol
