Unhappy This series has gone by SO fast

I cannot believe it's already ending.

I still have such a clear memory of watching the Launch Night and watching things like Rachael and Govan bitching on the feeds and Sunshine crying. And now it's all ending!

While I do think there were many mistakes made by producers in this season, casting being one of them, it has been a decent season. Not exactly the 'going out with a bang' I expected and wanted though.

Sometimes I wonder what it would've been like if they picked completely different 14 other housemates....maybe it could've ended up being the craziest series ever. But now we'll never know.

It was very good the Week 1 but then it started to dwindle down, Rachael being evicted really killed things.
Govan and then Sunshine being evicted in Week 2 and Week 3 didn't help either.
Then, in Week 4 things were beginning to pick again and it was quite entertaining. Then, Shabby quit and the show once again went downhill.
Weeks 5-7 were absolutely terrible. Very stale and boring.
Then, in Week 8 when Sam came in, the show suddenly got a new burst of life again.
Now, these past few weeks have been quite decent.

However...
If Rachael hadn't been evicted first, Shabby didn't quit, and Sam went in from the start, I think we would've ended up with a MUCH better series.

But on the bright side, I have a really good feeling Ultimate Big Brother will make up for the semi-disappointment that was BB11. The thought of watching all of my favorite housemates like Nikki, Charley, Marcus, Chantelle, Makosi, Pete, etc. together in the Big Brother house again for 2 weeks is very very very exciting.

This is how much Ive lost interest.
the last show I watched was the last eviction. (only a couple of days but still) Im in no rush really to play catch up anytime soon.

Rachelle she didnt do anything imo in the first week so for me I doubt she would have made the show any better.
Sunshine I agree shouldnt have left and might have made the show more interesting. But the public for some reason thought that Shabby & Keyvaa actually had a thing going =/
If it wasnt for that Sunshine would have stayed.

I think if Sam went in from the get go he would have annoyed both the HMs & viewers so much that he would have been gone in about 4-5weeks.

Im only interested in a few ppl in UBB. if that list I saw earlier was a true list.
I will tho be waiting to see Dermot again. Now if only he could kick Lamb out on his @ss for UBBLB then all would be good.

Yes, I agree with the OP and the reason (to me) seems to be the series of 'false starts and restarts.'
That pace and the 'arc' we are used to never got to play out over the Summer season.

Great start.. here we goooo.... oh no, woops, Shabby problem stops everything.. Sunshine gone.
Restart after Shlthead quits.
Getting started again and our season will carry out,
but,
woops.. now there are 3 new Housemates. Dynamic stops, resorts itself... okayy... now lets gooo...
...wait.. stop and drop in a replacement HM... and here we goooo...
..injury.
Okay now WTF... 3 new HMs but Ben leaves?

Yes, it just threw it all off and felt like a series of 'restarts' and cast we should have gotten to know and love over a longer period of time never got to 'pay off' that way.

The oddest thing is that with all the walk-outs and somehow we end up with what seems like a whole party of people just days before it ends.
Strange.

I liked the season but it kept feeling like what could have been 'gold' never quite got past 'silver' and was 'bronze' too many times when it ought not have been.
Still good,
but,
it's more of a 'shame' when it could have been so excellent.

I'm very disappointed by the over interference from the producers this year. I can see why they've done it but the show should be about reality not lining their pockets. I'll be glad when its over and hope I don't get suckered in by Ultimate Housemate.

I warned people that Rachael, Govan and Shabby's departure would do no good - but people just told me that 'there were plenty of other storylines'.

Yeah, what storylines?

I found Sunshine really irritating but in hindsight had she stayed I reckon there would've been some more arguments.

It happens every year, Norin last year and Luke and Bex the year before.
People will never learn so I just thank god that it has been axed.

Agree it's went faster than any other series, so has this summer.

The launch feels like about a week ago.
It's just hard to believe the mole task and that happened 70 odd days ago.

I was thinking when watching that 'Woah we have so long until the final and then we'll look back on this' and now it's here!

Ew.

All Stars is going to be horrible judging by the cast the DS have leaked.

The summer has certainly flown by.
I have loved the series, but I think what has speeded it up more for me is finding this website. I am hooked, I love to see what people have to say etc.
It might be a bit silly but I find myself looking for certain people's posts.
Sad maybe, but there you have it.
The one good thing for me when the series ends is that my family will get their wife and mammy back, and the house will resemble something less than a hovel

Bring on CH5 and the next series

Word.

This series has been an embarrassment to the brand.
