Default I would SUE BB for the danger

The HMs were living in an unstable house. I mean, apparently the ******ing kitchen roof collapsed! WTF? A spark could have happened and the whole house could have gone up in flames.

This is ******ing pathetic. I can't wait for a report on the events.

How the ****** is he being daft?

If I were the parent of a housemate in that house right now and went on Facebook and saw statuses like 'OH MY GOD THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE IS FALLING APART'

I'd be very concerned.

I'm being stupid? Says the person that can't use a capital letter.

Screaming in terror? Yeah no one, not me, not other TiBBers, not the housemates.. No one was screaming in terror.

I don't know what you mean calm down? I'm calm as ***** I'm just bored and saw you talking out your arse to Phlip when he has a good point.

If you were say Andrew's dad for example and turned on the computer to see thousands not some people, thousands of Facebook statuses about a place 'falling apart' (Yes some people went OTT but we knew very little) that your son was in, how the ****** would you not be concerned?

If you were a housemates best friend and heard the roof of their house collapsed (I don't think it did but these are rumours) surely you would be scared for them? Same goes if you were a housemate, although I think the majority of housemates thought it was great to get out, I know I would.

i think you'll find in most contracts it states that they can't be accountable for 'acts of god'.
i suppose if there had been an earthquake, they should sue big brother as well.

I am pretty sure the house is fully inspected and fits all applicable safety guidelines.

What's wrong you basically either:

1. Read what I wrote and realised I had a point and couldn't think of anything else to say.

2. That was too much to read.

Anyhows, let's leave it at that then.

..Which explains why it got drenched while the other houses in Borehamwood remained fine and the walls in the house are made of near enough paper that you could knock down with your fist.

it's a temporary house.
'all the other houses in borehamwood' are permanent.
I think you'll find the specifications are a little different.

thats not what patrick wants to hear he has deluded thoughts of andrews dad being stupid enough to use facebook to try and find out whats happened when anybody actually normal would just phone them up and ask them!
thats if they werent happy with seeing a video of them all walking out of the house laughing.

If they are sensible they would build it to withstand some rain, otherwise would potentially put the whole show and the money they make from it in danger every year.

it has successfully withstood rain for 7-8 years but as a temporary structure which is all its allowed to be by law to be breached once by a freak storm is no shame from what i gather their were powercuts and internet outages in parts of london as well. no need to be a drama queen about things.

It's a studio, not a house. Of course it's gonna receive more damage than houses, because they're built differently.

I never had a power cut, there was a brief downpour but no flooding.

it can be pretty grim for some!
some of my relatives from huntly were recently out of home for months after being 5 foot under but have now returned to a lovely shiny new set up they are pretty happy
an inch of wet carpet is a pain but nothing to get too upset about.
the tweenys that are upset about it have never been flooded before.

Yes because one single spark in those flooded, damp, water-soaked conditions and that place will go up like a matchstick in the desert!
As you know rain does knock out the sprinkler system so. yeah..basically a powder keg!

Is this whats become of this country,a bunch of money grabbing losers that look for any excuse to sue, what your sugesting is no better than the cold call ambulance chasers that are making this a country of greedy vultures and whiney idiots.

The structure is temporary, its not built to withstand freakish weather, when the wind blows your fence down or slates off your roof should people sue you ?
