Default Can't believe Dave.May be offensive to some.

Got this post from a friend,I was quite upset by this and am shocked Dave does things like this,Why haven't BB shown some of his comments about animals,BB left so much out like Dave saying the best way to kill animals

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would have thought BB would have liked a topic that people could really make a decision on - especially the bit , the bullet didn't kill it so we had to cut its throat - the noise it made was unbelieveable. I wonder how much noise dave would make if he had been shot and then his throat cut.

But wig pinching was more interesting

Not a supporter of Dave, but hunting isnt immoral or wrong.

In fact I have more respect for the people that kill and clean their own food then for the objecter that buys it wrapped in plastic from the supermarket shelf.

At least the hunter is takeing responsibility for his food.

There's really no evidence to back up this allegation and it isnt even clear what Dave is supposed to be said

But if he did say "the bullet didnt kill it so we had to cut its throat" then he isnt talking about the best way to kill an animal at all

Yep, exactly. I believe kazanne is the poster labelling Dave a "murderer" for hunting. Yet I am just about to sit down to a steak pie, is that murder as well?

I've never understood people who try and take the moral highground over hunters consdiering that eating meat isnt really much different

Edit - sorry, I thought you were saying "dont people generally kill animals to make..." not "how do people generally kill animals to make..."

Tbh I'm against animal hunting and stuff but Dave mp lives in a farming community-type village where they're all "ban the ban" and stuff.

It's like that up here out in the wilds too (I live 2 minutes away from "farming areas" up the hill and up there there's posters everywhere broadcasting "ban the ban" and stuff, fiercely proud of hunting).

Around here people go lamping and stuff at night, it's cruel but that's what happens.

I'm obv not 100% but that's how I see it living a sort of similar life area-wise to Dave.

I'm not meaning to defend him either, I think it's terrible but I'm no veggie! I guess I don't like to think about how we get our meat.

nooo you have it wrong people who are anti hunting dont agree with animals having to die for their meat so they just get it from the supermarket where they make it

If you shoot something and it does not die straight away then slitting it's throat is a quick way of ending any pain. In an ideal world the shot would kill it, but you will get some that don't.
Most animals in this country are stunned before having their throats cut at the slaughterhouse.

Nothing is wrong with hunting animals for food. How do you think, the chicken and beef that you eat everyday get on your plate?

I think it is the relish and delight Dave seems to get out of his hunting pursuits that gets people's goats.
I think one can defend hunting animals for food, but enjoying the killing of animals is a different thing entirely.
