Simon seemed to let slip on the XTra Factor that they would be on one week. Not sure if he meant to or if theres any truth in it (nor do I care, I hate boybands) but thought some may be interested

I hope they're all on, thought Westlife would be next week as their new single/album is coming out soon.

I'm not sure Simon meant to let it slip. He looked mortified afterwards and made Connie move on

Hardly a secret. And he never lets anything slip....if it came out of his mouth then i was intended. Even if he pretends otherwise.

The Take That fans have known about them being on for ages,it was hardly a secret. I'm sure the Westlife and JLS fans were the same,we're pretty good at finding stuff out

Well duh. I counted it up and the tour tickets made at least 85 million pounds. It's obviously for money,I can't stand Rob but I love my 4 boys so I'm just going to have to go along with it.
And Kerry you need to be a manband fan

No. Neither need each other really, financially. I think its really more about old mates getting back together for the joy of it.
If anything, Robbie needs them though coz his last two albums havent done great. Moving to LA has not done his music any favours. |

Of course they don't need the money,I know Gary is worth about 40 million but they're set to make about 15 million each from this reunion, they're just being greedy really. I really really really love them(my 4) but it is the reason.

Both acts can shift over a million tickets easily so they can make that money without each other. If it were just about money they'd have reunited long since. Time's the best healer of all though. |

Should be a great night. I'm no massive fan of Westlife's but I really like their new single 'Safe'. It was played during the Bootcamp Results show...

They didn't fade away last time though, not as a group,Take That went out on a Number 1 album and single. They faded away as indiviuals, but as a 4some Take That have plenty of fans to keep them around for a good long while.

My point; I dont think they have the kind of motivation that you imply anymore. Its totally different. So I stand by my point that their main motivation is about old mates getting back together for the experience. Not money, not publicity. I dont think either crave fame anymore. Robbie moved to LA to escape it. |

They don't need publicity though, they never have. Their fans alone will always keep them going, there's plenty of us. And they were much more interesting before in my mind
