X Factor contestant Wagner Carrilho was reportedly heard ranting about judge Cheryl Cole on Thursday night.

According to The Mirror, the Brazilian criticised Cole while in the bar of the hotel he has moved into and described the X Factor house as a "prison".

Speaking of the judges, he said: "I never see them really and I hardly ever speak to any of them. I know they're busy, but I think it is also because eventually they are going to turn on you. They have their favourites.

"Cheryl has never spoken to me properly, but that's okay. She's just a girl from a council estate who got lucky when somebody gave her a job in showbusiness. But she is pretty, very, very pretty. Now that I'm famous maybe I will find a girl as pretty as her."

Wagner apparently added that Rebecca Ferguson is the only contestant he likes, saying: "She has it all. She's beautiful, with a wonderful voice. I think she should win. Every time she opens her mouth I am stunned, I wonder where that voice is coming from."
