I think the announcement could be here mid week because it was reported to be last week but delayed, this is the 4th daily star report on bb, and also, josie tweeted that she is doing a presenting course, so maybe an announcement from her when she is on oktv mid week?

Look at the logo, even. Jesus. Surely this is too much for a paper owned by Desmond to actually put out if it was B.S?

This is really happening.

Thing is, even though the Star concentrating their homepage on this for a week is a pretty strong indicator that there's some truth to it (even if they have dedicated months of consecutive frontpages to it in the past), it's still not enough to make me 100% certain of anything, The Daily Star, while owned by Desmond and C5's parent company and run from the same building as Channel 5, it still isn't Channel 5.

BIG Brother will return this summer after Channel 5 bosses clinched a multi-million pound deal to bring it back to our TV screens.

The Daily Star Sunday can exclusively reveal that a five-year contract with programme makers Endemol will be signed in the next few days.

And a special “Summer of Bruv” will start with a celebrity version of the hit show in mid-August.

It will run for four weeks and will be directly followed by Big Brother 2011 in September.

Channel 5 bosses have big plans to make Big Brother better than it ever was on Channel Four.

And they’ve lined up the hottest ever hit list of 12 celebs for the all-star version of the show.

Top of the wanted list is out- spoken ex-Harrods boss Mohamed Al-Fayed, 78, who is sure to make compelling viewing.

The Fulham FC owner and father of Princess Diana’s last boyfriend Dodi is famous for his anti-establishment rants.

A big-money offer will also be made to hellraiser Charlie Sheen, 45, who has kept Hollywood spellbound with his off-the-wall antics since being sacked from his job as the highest-paid TV star in the world on Two And A Half Men.

And the “Flirty Dozen” could get a healthy dose of glamour from The Only Way Is Essex babe Amy Childs, 21, and Prince Harry’s on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 25.

Other names on the wish list include scandal-hit football pundit Andy Gray, 55, troublesome minx Peaches Geldof, 22, and The Wanted singer Max George, 22.

Rapper Tinie Tempah, 22, actress Joanna Lumley, 64, and sexy Abbey Clancy, 25, are also in line to go into the famous house, while others being considered are Home and Away babe Samara Weaving, 19, and former boxing champion Ricky Hatton, 32.

A Channel 5 insider told the Daily Star Sunday: “We are giving television fans exactly what they wanted – Big Brother back on our screens this summer.

“The deal will be signed over the next couple of days but everything has been agreed.

“It’s a really exciting time for Channel 5 and everyone is determined to make this new era of Big Brother the best yet.”

The source added: “We’ve got our wish list of celebrities that we want and we’re going to do everything we can to persuade them to enter the house.

“We want people like Charlie Sheen and Peaches Geldof, who we’re confident would be TV gold inside the house.

“And watching someone like the billionaire businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed living alongside those two is bound to provide some classic TV moments.

“Once the deal is signed we’ll make our approaches.”

The source said work had also started on the existing Big Brother house. But it will remain the same house that it’s always been – just better.

Our insider added: “It will still have things like the Diary Room. The show’s format will also stay the same so fans don’t have to worry.

“It will still be the same programme that they’ve all grown to love over the years but with a bigger, brighter and sexier future.

“It’s going to have a bit of a revamp with some new features but all the favourite items will be back including the 24-hour live feed.

“Everyone is really excited about the relaunch and we’re confident it will be unmissable viewing again this summer, like it has been every summer for more than a decade.

“There will be a lot of loyal Big Brother fans out there who will be equally excited by news of its return.”

Big Brother fans were devastated when Channel 4 axed the long-running show, hosted by Davina McCall, last year after 11 series.

The programme became a worldwide hit after being created for Dutch TV in 1997.

It started in the UK in 2000 and quickly became the surprise TV hit of the summer. It has spawned a host of stars from ordinary people including “Nasty” Nick Bateman, Brian Dowling and series one winner Craig Phillips.

The most famous Brit housemate Jade Goody shot to fame after appearing in the 2002 main show and 2007 celeb version.

She died from cancer in 2009 aged 27.

If that's the logo, then we have something to worry about. Lol. Nevertheless, I'm pleased.

It won't be, though it will probably get used a lot in it's promotional material, they've just mocked it up to allow them to get both their sister company and BB's logos on the front page at once while still including the obligatory pic of a glamour model in the nud.

Compelling, as in "having a heart attack" .....

Cheap and nasty .....

Not in a million years .....

Rumour and speculation .....

We'll see I guess, though you can't blame people for being cautious after the last two rumours came to nothing.
