X Factor bosses have reportedly banned N-Dubz star Dappy from helping bandmate Tulisa Contostavlos at Judges' Houses.

Contostavlos joined the new-look judging panel in May, and the band's third member Fazer had claimed that they would help her during the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.

However, speaking on Kiss FM, Dappy admitted that X Factor producers have since decided against having him on the show.

"Tulisa said to me that she begged them," the rapper said.

"But they knew I would cause madness. You don't want to get me on that as a judge - if you're crap, I would tell you you're crap!"

Previous reports have suggested that Cheryl Cole could make a surprise comeback to The X Factor by joining Contostavlos at her home, while Tinie Tempah is also said to be in the frame
