Mark Wright has threatened to quit 'The Only Way Is Essex' amid a row about money.

The 24-year-old hunk - who is currently paid just £50 per day for his role on the ITV2 reality series - has reportedly been offered £250,000 to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother' when it re-launches on Channel 5 later this month, and is "seriously considering" following in the footsteps of co-star Amy Childs and taking TV chiefs up on their offer.

With 'TOWIE' contracts currently forbidding stars from appearing on other shows, Mark is said to be debating whether he has a future on the programme.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: "There is disquiet over pay. A lot of big names have been offered serious money for other shows. Mark is now seriously considering his future on the show.

"There has been a lot of interest in him from elsewhere. He has yet to decide if he will return for the new series. He loves it but he has to decide what is best for his own career."

However, 'TOWIE' bosses claim show stars can cash in on personal appearances and sponsorship deals to boost their income and have warned "nobody is bigger than the show.

A source added: "If people think they can make more money elsewhere they are free to go. Nobody is bigger than the show."

Mark's fiance Lauren Goodger - who also is one of the main stars of the ITV2 show - recently claimed wouldn't work without its existing cast.

She told BANG Showbiz: "I know we make money doing other things but really this is our full-time job - going to film every day for two or three months is stressful and we definitely should have a higher wage. It takes over our lives!

"The show wouldn't be what it is without us. The producers walked the streets for eight months to find the right cast so it wouldn't be the same with anyone else in it."

Personally he should go for CBB. 250 GRAND!! Plus he is a good looking chap.. he will get some modelling deals after CBB.
