Well now that we all know who the presenter is, now that we've seen the new logo and the new house, What are your opinions on the NEW Big Brother on Channel 5?
How do you think it's shaping up?
Do you think it'll be a success?

All we need now is some good HMs and twists or the beautiful house is wasted.

I hope it will be, it's being more advertised than i expected and more and more people are finding out about it.

They must keep it up next year if it continues though.

I think it will be a huge hit for C5,im not sure what I think of some of the ideas yet though.

Yes it's like a new generation is beginning it's awesome - just the housemates and celebrities now, I hate them but we need them.

I'm really impressed I was worried with the changing of the eye as the old was iconic but the new one has grown on me - the house is great the effort Channel 5 have gone to with such short notice for the house the standard is better than previous years - just need Brian to step up now and then it's just down the housemates to be genuine have a really goodfeeling though ))

I'm more excited after seeing the house. The eye and presenter news were disappointing IMO.

Hopefully they just get the housemate right thats what it comes down to in the end.

Honestly I didn't expect the house to look THAT good. I expect a lot of non-5 viewers who are tuning in just for BB will be shocked to see that 5 can compete with C4 (I always regarded 5 as a quite "low-budget" channel in some way, don't know why).

All we need now is a good mix of characters and we're on to a winner!

I am really hopeful. I like everything I only hope the Housemates are as good as the testing housemates because they seemed pretty normal and fun loving. I don't want a house of freaks this time around and I don't want people as dull as **** either a happy medium would be good.

I think there is one important change missing.
It is still Endemol and I wonder is it broadly the same production team who still believe that they know best and HMs are merely puppets and not real people. One cannot be changed the other I hope has been.

Jack Whitehall was on it and they were talking about the first series and the house. He said something along the lines of, 'The house looks like it was built in Austria. Or by Channel 5'

Thing is, that's the point. BB1-BB2 looked like something Five would do. I mean watching shows such as The Farm, Five was never really chucking money about. But they are proving us all wrong!

I always thought ch5would give it a go if only to give ch4 a slap. It does look promising the house looks quite dramitacly changed to me but I didn't watch the last 3 series.

When C5 first announced they have purchased the format...I was worried. I thought they would well and truly kill it off. As I've said in another thread, I think C5 have well and truly grabbed the bull by the horns and jumped in the deep end. The house looks amazing, the advertising is good so far, especially with the advert on ITV1, the billboard had the wrong date but nevertheless. All they need now is some good twists and tasks and a good celeb line up etc... But, I do have hope for the show now.

DONT GET TOO EXCITED!! Just picked up next weeks tv mag in anticipation of BB returning and we are only going to get 1 hour highlights each night.Super casino is taking up Five nighttime schedule!! Wheres the live BB through the night!!!!!!!!! Five you have shot down BB already!!!!!
