A man has been stabbed in the back in a robbery in Belfast.
At about 14:00 BST on Monday, the 18-year-old was approached at Friendly Street in the Markets area by a man with a knife who demanded his wallet.
As the man attempted to escape he received a stab wound to his back.
He was taken to hospital and underwent surgery for his wounds which are not thought to be life-threatening.
The attacker was described as being of skinny build and between 5ft 9ins and 6ft 1ns tall and was wearing a white hooded top with a scarf covering his face and navy blue shorts.
