Jessie Wallace called off her wedding with Vincent Morse on the day of the ceremony after it emerged he had allegedly been sending explicit texts to an ex.

The 'EastEnders' actress had even considered waiting until she was at the altar to jilt her fiancé, according to the Mirror.

Vince apparently sent a relative to try to convince Jessie to go through with the wedding, but the 39-year-old cancelled just hours before she was due to become Mrs Morse.

A friend says Jessie, who plays Kat Moon in the BBC soap, feels "humiliated" and "totally betrayed" by Vince's actions.

The couple were due to marry at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park in front of family, friends and Jessie's co-stars, like Shane Richie, and had a magazine deal reportedly worth up to £450,000.

Vince allegedly sent an explicit picture of Jessie to his former fiancée, Karen Short, and sent "flirty emails" in which said he was having doubts about his relationship with Jessie.

Karen, whose three-year relationship with Vince ended in 2005, reportedly claimed she spent the night with Vince in December, and said: "I had no idea about Jessie."

She added: "When I received the photograph of Jessie from Vince last month I felt really uncomfortable," and went on to claim Vince "is a risk-taker and definitely has a dark side."

Jessie and Vince spoke about their engagement last month following six months of dating, after first meeting on a blind date. Jessie called him her "Mr Right" and said they were planning on have a child.

Jessie Wallace has reportedly taken fiancé Vince Morse back.

The EastEnders star cancelled her wedding to Morse earlier this week after discovering that he had sent an explicit image of her to an ex-partner.

However, Wallace has now agreed to try and fix the relationship by holding crisis talks in Greece, where the couple had planned to go on their honeymoon, The Sun reports.

She apparently told a friend: "It's make or break. I cannot believe what he has put me through. I am supposed to be on my honeymoon with the man of my dreams - and instead we're meeting in secret at the hotel to try to save our relationship.

"But I still love Vince and he knows it. We're back together for now, but he's got to convince me we have a long term future together."

The pair are thought to be travelling separately to a five-star Greek resort later today.

"Jessie is all over the place," a source added. "She is volatile. One minute she is speaking amicably with Vince, the next she's screaming blue murder. He should take a crash helmet with him to Greece."

Wallace has allegedly received death threats since cancelling her wedding, while Morse has been calling her non-stop.
