He's very annoying to watch. I did feel sorry for him because of Rebeckah leading him on, but he is very like a leech and kinda creepy.
I'm beginning to think that he may not be as stupid as I originally thought though. He seemed well aware earlier that Rebeckah was taking the piss of him by deliberately trying to make him jealous, but it is what he said next that caught by attention. It was something along the lines of:

"I'm gonna get close to Maisy, - I NEED to."

He seemed to be sticking to his word pawing all over Maisy a few hours later, but unfortunately for him, his attempt of humour mentioning her spot back fired on him. He did swing it back in his favour though, by turning the whole conversation into being about himself and how he is feeling.

In fairness he did seem genuinely upset, and he did go running back declaring his love again for Rebeckah, but there's part of me now thinking he's not really that dumb, and is already lining up Maisy to be her replacement.

Have to add that I found Anton taking the piss of his "Love You" hilarious!
