Since when was this guy a celebrity? Never mind being labelled "famous"!

He was on Pop Idol 9 years ago but as you know, Pop Idol was a competition for non celebrities, so what gives?

"Celebrity" is a term used very loosely these days.

Anyone can be a celeb nowadays. Pretty soon Daniel-lewis-1985 will be rumoured to be entering celeb bb and he wil launch his own clothing range with the slogan "you are such a tampon" running all over every item of clothing he sells.
