James Arthur has his back at comments made by The Voice judges Will.I.Am and Danny O’Donoghue.

Before winning The X Factor last year, the Impossible singer had previously auditioned for The Voice, but didn’t make it through the early stages.

At a recent press event, The Script frontman spoke about J-Arth, stating: "I’ve never heard of him. He didn’t make it through. 30,000 people audition and then they get whittled down to what gets presented to us, so he obviously didn’t make it through to that part.”

Fellow judge Will.I.Am chimed in with: “Who is James Arthur?”

Never one to shy away from a Twitter spat, James has since tweeted: "Who’s James Arthur?” .. He was the dude keeping you off the top spot for weeks. Sights set higher than the voice #whereisthelove.”

He set his sights higher than The Voice by auditioning for X Factor and kept Scream & Shout off #1 with a charity single. He's clearly above will.i.am :@

James Arthur was fortunate that the last X Factor was ****e, because despite having talent in any other year of X Factor he would've come 4th or 5th due to being an unlikeable jerk to some people.

I never watched X Factor this year, I thought the winners single was crap. I thought James Arthurs attack on Matt Cardle was a little premature. I don't like the Black eye peas but I watched The Voice and *surprisingly* I loved Will.I.Am.

he's now an unfortunate byproduct of the UK alternative (lol, he's about as alternative as salad) press that dictates to be interesting you have to publically attack other acts and be a general dickhead. maybe he'll have more humility when he inevitably flops.
